Last Tuesday, West Ridge lost to David Crockett at home by a decisive 60-42 margin. West Ridge has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tennessee has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 30 points or more this season. They blew past John Battle 65-28 on the road. 65 seems to be a good number for Tennessee as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Tennessee found their leader in underclassman Addie Wilhoit, who scored 15 points along with three steals. The contest was Wilhoit's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Mazzy Wilson was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
West Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Tennessee, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-3.
West Ridge came up short against Tennessee in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 57-49. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Wilhoit, who scored 27 points along with four steals.
