Uriel Castro Delivers Best Performance of Season
Uriel Castro produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bernalillo to the win on Friday. Castro threw for 343 yards and seven touchdowns on only 15 passes.
The victory for Bernalillo keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Castro and Bernalillo will head out on the road to face off against Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Taos's probably not too fond of Lazos given he always seems to get the better of them. When Lazos last faced the Tigers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 211 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry.

Espanola Valley found a leader in Leonard Martinez as the team took down Kirtland Central on Friday. Martinez turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 106 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Espanola Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-2. Martinez and Espanola Valley will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. on October 25th.
