North Central is returning home triumphant after the team finally put their road woes behind them against Christel House on Tuesday. The Panthers blew past the Eagles 21-5. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Kaelee Jacobs was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. Jacobs was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ryleigh Reiblich, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Samantha Saalfrank, who scored three runs while going 3-for-5.
North Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Christel House only posted a batting average of .059.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Warren Central was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 11-2 to Southport.
Warren Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Hiliard, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
North Central's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Warren Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Warren Central's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: North Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .317. It's a different story for Warren Central, though, as they've only averaged .237. Will they be able to contain North Central's hitters?
North Central took their victory against Warren Central when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-3 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
