The biggest upset of the week belonged to St. Mary's-Colgan, who took down 111th ranked Southeast, 40-24.
The Panthers moved up to 113 from 140 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee. St. Mary's-Colgan climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Lancers 40-24.
Jordan Morgan was the best wideout in the league this week as Columbus defeated Labette County. Morgan racked up four receptions for 102 yards. AJ Randle helped Columbus' passing attack out by catching two balls for 21 yards.
Nate Bole provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Titans beat the Grizzlies. He completed six passes for 123 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 78 yards.
Trenton Little was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 172 yards on 23 carries as Galena topped Labette County. Logan Johnson also contributed to the rushing game with 135 yards on the ground.
Josh Thompson put up the best numbers through the air as Southeast fell to Chuck Smith's team. He finished with a total of 10 completions for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Thompson's favorite target this week was Daniel Peak, who caught four passes for 79 yards.
Kyler Cook made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Bulldogs topped Riverton. The 6-foot-0 sophomore pulled down one interception.
Clint Rider's team's Thompson and Peak have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee in both passing and receiving yards. Thompson has thrown for 1503 yards this season, while Peak, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 41 catches for 828 yards. Girard's Anthony Scholes leads the league in rushing yards with 1412.
The Trojans extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Frontenac, 7-6. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
