The Miller Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 71-48 margin over Wellston. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Miller has managed all season.
Miller was led to victory by Bryce Dorsey and Logan Doughty. Dorsey dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Doughty scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Perry, who scored 11 points.
Miller's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Wellston, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miller won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wellington School at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th.
