Thomas County Central was led to victory by Trey Brenton and Jaylen Johnson. Brenton gained 152 total yards and a touchdown, while Johnson threw for 197 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
Thomas County Central has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.6 points per game. As for Northside, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
Thomas County Central will be playing at home against St. Pius X Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Pius X Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 149th, while Thomas County Central is ranked second). Northside is on the road again on Friday and play against Marist at 7:30 p.m. on November 10th. Marist is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games.
