Holbrook had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They blew past the Round Valley Elks 59-23. The Roadrunners have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 25 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Tyler Tapaha, who went 7 of 12 en route to 17 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaron Becenti, who posted 13 points.

Holbrook was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Round Valley only racked up three assists.

Holbrook pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Round Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Holbrook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-52 loss against Snowflake on the 10th. As for Round Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-46 defeat against Horizon Honors on the 9th.
