The Riverside Ram will take on the Gainesville Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Having struggled with three losses in a row, Riverside turned things around against Briar Woods on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Falcons 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Ram have posted since March 24th.

Kaylee Kadans tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Ashley Bui was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gainesville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Battlefield 3-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cardinals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Addison Brathwaite spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cameryn Denhup, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Kendall Woods also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Gainesville's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
Gainesville's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Riverside has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.9 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Gainesville, though, as they've been averaging only 2.9 strikeouts. Will Riverside keep running through batters, or will the Cardinals buck the trend?
