The Oak Hills Highlanders will square off against the Seton Saints at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oak Hills is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
Oak Hills had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Fairfield on Monday. The Highlanders blew past the Indians 9-3. Considering the Highlanders have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Annaliese Szabo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Zoe Schaible was a standout: she went a perfect 1-for-1 with four stolen bases and three runs. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Emily Lacock was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Oak Hills hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fairfield struck out 12 times.
Meanwhile, Seton fell victim to Ross and their airtight pitching crew last Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Rams. The shutout was out of character for the Saints seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.
Oak Hills' win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Seton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-16.
Seton's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Oak Hills has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.2 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Seton, though, as they've been averaging only 2.9 strikeouts. Will Oak Hills keep running through batters, or will the Saints buck the trend?
Everything went Oak Hills' way against Seton in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Oak Hills made off with a 9-0 victory. Do the Highlanders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Saints turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
