Bishop Timon-St. Jude has gone 8-2 against St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Last Tuesday, Bishop Timon-St. Jude earned a 70-61 win over The Park School of Buffalo. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Pioneers are ranked 370th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute against St. Francis on Tuesday as the team secured a 75-45 victory. The Marauders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 24 points or more this season.
Bishop Timon-St. Jude better focus on containing Jaymeir Goosby and Nate Blenman as the pair were huge in St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute's win. Goosby went 8 of 15 on his way to 17 points and five steals, while Blenman dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. Blenman is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gionni Zelasko, who put up five points.
Bishop Timon-St. Jude's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22.5 points. As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Bishop Timon-St. Jude and St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Bishop Timon-St. Jude hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 73.1 points per game. However, it's not like St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute struggles in that department as they've been averaging 62.4 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Bishop Timon-St. Jude strolled past St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 72-58. Will Bishop Timon-St. Jude repeat their success, or does St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
