Corinth Holders and Clayton are an even 4-4-2 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Pirates will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against the Comets at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Corinth Holders didn't have quite enough to beat Willow Spring and fell 3-2. Corinth Holders have struggled against Willow Spring recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Clayton hadn't done well against Cleveland recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way last Tuesday. The Comets never let the Rams get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Clayton's Alexis Morgan and Ava Walker and Cleveland's Madi McGonagle were all carded.

Clayton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matchups. As for Corinth Holders, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4-3.
