Having just played yesterday, the DSST: Green Valley Ranch Raptors will head out on the road to face off against the Coal Ridge Titans at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. DSST: Green Valley Ranch is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season.
DSST: Green Valley Ranch is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Jefferson Academy 53-39. The win was some much needed relief for the Raptors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tobe Ozoma, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 14 points. Those 14 points gave Ozoma a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of David Abankwa, who shot 71% from the field en route to 10 points.
DSST: Green Valley Ranch was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They are 14-3 when they've passed the ball that well.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coal Ridge). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Stargate School 76-40. The win was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won three contests in a row.
DSST: Green Valley Ranch better keep an eye on Ben Simons. He was instrumental in Coal Ridge's win, dropping a double-double with 23 points and 20 rebounds. They are 14-1 when Simons posts ten or more boards, but 4-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Diego Gamez, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 15 points and five steals.
DSST: Green Valley Ranch's record is now 16-8. As for Coal Ridge, their record now sits at 18-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: DSST: Green Valley Ranch has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 23.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Coal Ridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
DSST: Green Valley Ranch beat Coal Ridge 59-51 in their previous matchup back in March of 2020. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Coal Ridge's Austin Gerber, who shot 47% from the field on his way to 21 points and seven rebounds.
