That was a full 84.2% of the Warriors' points, marking the sixth time in a row Tuten has posted more than a third of the team's points. Dakota Honeycutt also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Unity Christian Academy). They came out on top against New Life Academy by a score of 44-35 on Monday.
Unity Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Kayleigh Ballance, who went 10-for-23 to rack up 25 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ballance has scored all season. Michelle Cole was another key player, putting up five points and 16 boards.
Unity Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Mount Calvary Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Unity Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's game: Mount Calvary Christian Academy has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 100% of their three-pointers per game. It's a different story for Unity Christian Academy, though, as they've only made 16.7% of their threes this season. Given Mount Calvary Christian Academy's sizable advantage in that area, Unity Christian Academy will need to find a way to close that gap.
