Richwood posted their biggest victory since December 17, 2024 on Friday. They put the hurt on the Paden City Wildcats with a sharp 57-34 win. Given the Lumberjacks' advantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Wildcats are ranked 860th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-11. As for Paden City, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Looking ahead, Richwood will take on Montcalm at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Paden City, they will square off against Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on February 17th.
