Rodriguez wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Twin River was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 349 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Giltner only rushed for 44.
Meanwhile, McCool Junction couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Sutton by a score of 30-28 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for McCool Junction in their matchups with Sutton: they've now lost three in a row.
