Leading Fort Hancock to victory were Marisol Diaz and Alessandra Jimenez. Diaz scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals, while Jimenez scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The contest was Jimenez's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Tornillo's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-8. As for Fort Hancock, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Tornillo will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Da Vinci at 6:00 p.m. Da Vinci has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Fort Hancock, they will take on Chaparral at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
