Basketball Recap: Southwest Onslow Makes It Three in a Row at Home

If Wallace-Rose Hill wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Southwest Onslow, they should've done a better job of containing Rue Chapman. The Southwest Onslow Stallions were the clear victor by a 65-44 margin over the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs on Friday thanks in part to Chapman, who posted 15 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Chapman is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Southwest Onslow's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Southwest Onslow wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-52 win against North Lenoir on the 7th. Wallace-Rose Hill has also already played their next contest, a 61-48 victory against South Lenoir on the 7th.
