While losing is never fun, Jordan Christian Prep Sunshine can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 442nd, while Montverde Academy is ranked first).
Despite the loss, Jordan Christian Prep Sunshine still got an impressive performance from Marco Navarro, who scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Navarro has scored all season. Roman Snytiuk was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Jordan Christian Prep Sunshine now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Montverde Academy, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 21-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan Christian Prep Sunshine will take on American Youth Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Montverde Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Imani Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th.
