The Moline Maroons are taking a road trip to take on the Minooka Indians at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Moline is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.8 points per game this season.

Moline lost 73-52 to Quincy on Tuesday. The Maroons have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Despite their loss, Moline saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Adalynn Voss, who posted 17 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniya M Dixon, who put up 13 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Minooka, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 48-37 victory over Downers Grove South on Tuesday.

Minooka pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. As for Moline, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Moline skirted past Minooka 50-47 in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. Will the Maroons repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
