 Eldon was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 20-25, 25-21,  25-15.
Leading Eldon to victory were  Jaidyn Shelden and  Sarah Tompkins.  Shelden  had 26  digs and two  aces, while  Tompkins  had 12  digs and one assist. Shelden is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last four games she's  played.
 They weren't the only good servers: Eldon  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 13  aces. They are 6-1 when  they serve at least ten aces.
Eldon's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Southern Boone, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13-1 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  matches. Eldon will take on Versailles at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Southern Boone, they will head out to  challenge Jefferson City  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
