Salisbury Township is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 21-2 margin over Louis E. Dieruff on Saturday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Jenna Swoyer made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zaira Stokes, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Those doubles were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Gianna Olds, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Salisbury Township always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Allentown Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to Easton Area.
Gianna Menecola was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing five bases. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
Allentown Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Salisbury Township, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Allentown Central Catholic's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Salisbury Township has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .478. It's a different story for Allentown Central Catholic, though, as they've only averaged .363. Will they be able to contain Salisbury Township's hitters?
