Colfax (Calif.) came away with the 49-34 victory.

David Carter played well. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns, caught one touchdown and kicked three extra points. His performance brought his touchdown total to four on the year.
A 53-27 Colfax victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The victory was a step in the right direction for Colfax, which was coming off a 34-14 defeat at the hands of Center in its previous game.
In a Pioneer Valley game next week Foothill (1-7) takes on Center, and Colfax (4-4) will go up against Placer also in a Pioneer Valley game.
