El Diamante made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Porterville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Miners blew past the Panthers 10-3 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Miners.

Westminster got a massive performance out of Naomi Miranda, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Alvarez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
El Diamante's record is now 5-7-1. As for Westminster, their record now sits at 7-8.
