The Eastside Spartans will square off against the Holston Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastside will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
Eastside is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Honaker a 4-0 shutout.

The result came thanks to Braelyn Hall's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Eastside's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Compton, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was Compton's first of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holston). They put the hurt on Grundy with a sharp 22-0 victory on Thursday. Considering the Cavaliers have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Rily Cobler made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Cobler was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one double.
In other batting news, Kinsey Bradley was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Katie Remine, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Holston always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .644. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Holston has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Eastside, their record is now 22-2.
Eastside beat Holston 6-1 in their previous matchup back in May of 2018. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
