Norwell have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Abington on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Norwell are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Norwell had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a hard 14-34 fall against Scituate.
Meanwhile, Abington strolled past Rockland with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 26-8. The success made it back-to-back wins for Abington.
Abington's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Norwell's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Abington's success rolls on or if Norwell are able to steal their positive momentum.
