In what's become a running theme this season, the Aransas Pass Panthers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past Mathis 68-27 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Aransas Pass.
Mathis' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aliyah Montemayor, who scored six points.
Aransas Pass is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Mathis, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 18 of their last 20 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-25 record this season.
Aransas Pass does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mathis also has no future games currently scheduled.
