East Prairie put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Scott County Central Braves as East Prairie made off with a 14-4 victory. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly ten runs.

Chloe Jackson was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Addi Aters, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

East Prairie pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.4 runs over those games. As for Scott County Central, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, East Prairie will take on Woodland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scott County Central, they will be playing at home against Cooter at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
