Despite the defeat, Royal Palm Beach saw an underclassman step up: Mariayah Jean scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for Jean.
Royal Palm Beach now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Glades Central, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Royal Palm Beach will be playing at home against Boynton Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Boynton Beach is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Glades Central will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Moore Haven at 5:30 p.m. on January 10, 2024.
