The Summit Christian Academy Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against Galilean Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Summit Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.
Summit Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak. They had to suffer through a rough 61-28 loss at the hands of Community Christian Academy. Summit Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-14.
Payton Hammond put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds. The match was his sixth in a row with at least ten points.
Meanwhile, even though Cumberland Christian Home Educators scored an imposing 70 points two weeks ago, Galilean Christian Academy still came out on top. Galilean Christian Academy walked away with a 81-70 win over Cumberland Christian Home Educators. The victory was just what Galilean Christian Academy needed coming off of a 79-44 defeat in their prior contest.
Summit Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Galilean Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
