It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Pasco Pirates can now relate to. They took a 50-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coyotes . Pasco's defeat continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it four in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Pasco lost on Tuesday, one person who can't be blamed is TJ Gebru. Despite the final result, he scored 29 points along with two steals. It was the first time this season that Gebru grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sidney Allen, who scored seven points along with ten assists and five rebounds.
Pasco has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Cypress Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 11-13.
Pasco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cypress Creek, they will take on Zephyrhills at TBD on Thursday. Cypress Creek is coming into the contest with three straight victories on the road, meaning Zephyrhills will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
