The Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders came into Monday's matchup having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Colome by a score of 38-25 on Monday.
Abby Hinman was a one-man wrecking crew for Sunshine Bible Academy as she dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 12 rebounds, and 17 steals. Hinman also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Annaliese VanZee was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Sunshine Bible Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11. As for Colome, they dropped their record down to 0-17 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunshine Bible Academy will take on the at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colome, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
