El Camino hasn't had much luck against Casa Roble recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Rams at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, El Camino earned a 9-4 win over Woodland. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won four in a row.
Oaklee Schwartz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on 11 hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

03/18/25 @ Woodland | 2 |
03/04/25 @ Del Campo | 2 |
At the plate, Claire Schwartz was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Hannah Fawver also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: El Camino kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Casa Roble made easy work of Del Campo on Wednesday and carried off a 10-2 win. Considering the Rams have won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Alyssa Godwin made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Godwin was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.
In other batting news, Elizabeth Seider and Zaria Gee did most of the damage at the plate: Seider went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Gee got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Gianna Giannini was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.
Casa Roble has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for El Camino, their record now sits at 4-9.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. El Camino hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .334. However, it's not like Casa Roble struggles in that department as they've averaged .407. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
El Camino might still be hurting after the 15-2 defeat they got from Casa Roble in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
