Wilson Medina Dazzles in Sherwood Victory
Starting off the list is Sherwood's Wilson Medina, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Medina rushed for 234 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.
The victory (which was Sherwood's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Medina and Sherwood will face off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Andrew Waletich Turns in Season-Best Performance
Andrew Waletich produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sherwood to the win on Friday. Waletich rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 62 yards.
Waletich might have his next game, a road matchup with Liberty, circled on his calendar. When Waletich last faced the Falcons back in October of 2023, he rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown.

Hussein Kamel Puts an End to Century's Losing Streak on Friday
Thanks in part to Hussein Kamel, Century said goodbye to their three-game losing streak. Nobody could stop Kamel on Friday as he picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
