At the plate, Michael Cortez was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Clark has not done well against Pahrump Valley recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Clark walked away with an 8-4 victory over Pahrump Valley. The win was just what Clark needed coming off of a 17-2 loss in their prior game.
Clark got a big performance out of Cole Baren, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Roberto Madrigal, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Coronado's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-9. As for Clark, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.
