Woodward Academy had a rough outing against Wayne last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Woodward Academy snuck past Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey with a 13-8 win.
The victory bumped Woodward Academy's record up to 0-1. The loss dropped Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey's record to 0-1.
Next week, Woodward Academy take on Martensdale-St. Mary's at 7:00 PM. As for Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey, they will face off against Nodaway Valley.
