Catholic's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 52-30 walloping at the hands of Carver A&T. Catholic was down 46-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Carver A&T found their leader in underclassman Elisah Guity, who scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Guity has scored all season. Laila Brandon was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Carver A&T, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catholic will take on Indian Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Carver A&T, they will be playing at home against Catonsville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Catonsville will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
