Meanwhile, there's no place like home for McMichael, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against Bethany Community by a score of 7-4 on Thursday. The Phoenix haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Lindsay Redmon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks.
On the hitting side, Samantha Hopson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Olivia Wilson, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.
McMichael kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive games.
