Leading Hallsville to victory were Landon Cunningham and Abraham Rhoades. Cunningham threw for 259 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt, while Rhoades gained 82 total yards and two touchdowns. Cunningham was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 54 yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Eldon and nudges their season record down to 3-2. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 3-1 Osage (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 57.5% over those games).
