First Baptist put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 22-12 margin over the Faustina Academy Falcons. Considering the Saints have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Allison Munnerlyn made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Ari Verdugo was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Laila Batista was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs.

First Baptist kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

First Baptist's victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. First Baptist will venture away from home to square off against Texoma Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Faustina Academy, they will head out to face off against Pantego Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
