It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took down Northern Bedford County 21-7. Steelton-Highspire's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Steelton-Highspire's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.4 points per game. As for Northern Bedford County, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-1.
Steelton-Highspire will face off against Lackawanna Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lackawanna Trail is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Northern Bedford County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
