On Saturday, Poultney came out on top in a nail-biter against Windsor, sneaking past 15-12. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
The victory bumped Poultney's record up to 2-0. The loss dropped Windsor back to even at 1-1.
Poultney are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Bellows Free Academy next week at 1:00 PM. Windsor will be staying on the road, facing off against Milton.
