The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Takara Brown, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Raniya Tyler, who scored eight points along with three steals and two blocks.
Blackville-Hilda's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Calhoun County, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Blackville-Hilda have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 25.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Calhoun County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.9 rebounds per game.
