The Marlow Outlaws had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.4 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 64-46 win over Bridge Creek. Marlow pushed the score to 54-34 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bobcats cut but never quite recovered from.
Marlow's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Parker Boyles led the charge by scoring 19 points along with five assists. Boyles is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Blayd Harris, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Marlow pushed their record up to 14-5 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Bridge Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-5.
Marlow will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Indians at 8:00 p.m. Comanche will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Outlaws are ranked 72nd). As for Bridge Creek, they will head out on the road to challenge the Dragons at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
