Sheridan is 0-8 against Delphi Community since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Wednesday.  In other batting news,  Cole Macintosh and  Jack Oland did most of the damage at the plate:  Macintosh  went 4-for-4 with four  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI, while  Oland  went 2-for-4 with five  RBI, a  stolen base,  and a  run. Another player making a difference was  Dayne Voege, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Delphi Community had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 runs), and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They blew past the Warriors 11-1. Delphi Community might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight matchups by seven  runs or more this season.
 Like Sheridan, Delphi Community also got a great game from a two-way player:  Keigan Watts. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Watts has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Watts was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Xaine Tessier, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Sheridan's record is now 9-7. As for Delphi Community, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight games,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record  this season.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Sheridan has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.6  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Delphi Community struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 4.8. The only question left is which team can snag more.
