The Hamilton Braves will head out on the road to challenge the Maxwell Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maxwell took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Hamilton, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Hamilton kept a clean sheet against Durham. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Trojans.
Hamilton was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jorge Cortes and
Mason Massa, who scored both of Hamilton's goals. The pair have combined for a total of six so far this season.
Meanwhile, Maxwell's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 4-0 loss at the hands of Williams. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Maxwell in their matchups with Williams: they've now lost three in a row.
Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 6-12-2. As for Maxwell, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3-1.
