The Heritage Christian Athletics Falcons can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They took down Nazarene Christian Academy 41-26. The win was just what Heritage Christian Athletics needed coming off of a 40-19 defeat in their prior contest.
Nazarene Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jenna Valdez, who scored nine points along with five rebounds, and Dakota Becker who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and six blocks. Becker has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played.
Heritage Christian Athletics' victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
Heritage Christian Athletics does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Nazarene Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Mercy Culture Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mercy Culture Prep's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so Nazarene Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
