Miramar put nine runners on via walks this week, fewest in the league, but Everglades' staff still boasts the league's best control, having issued only 36 bases on balls over 45 total innings.
Miramar's
Marcus Oval led the league in strikeouts this week with 11. With 20 strikeouts this year so far, he ranks second in the league.
The Gators'
Andrew Hernandez was locked in this week, and led the league with a 1.000 average (3-for-3) over that span. He's batting .524 on the year, which puts him at seventh in the league. Hernandez has accumulated 11 base knocks this year so far.
