After a string of four wins, Lehi's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 50-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Provo Bulldogs. While the Pioneers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 23-19 in the first quarter.
When it comes to explaining why Lehi lost, don't look at Brynlee Cook. Despite the final result, she posted 13 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelcee Rasmussen, who put up five points and five assists.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Provo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Naomi Martinez, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds.
