It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Parkview can now relate to. They fell 69-60 to the Summit Christian Academy Eagles on Wednesday. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Leading Summit Christian Academy to victory were Mike Thomas III and Grady Ellerman. Thomas III dropped a double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds, while Ellerman shot 75% from the field on his way to 23 points. That's the most boards Thomas III has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Rieger, who went 5-for-11 en route to 13 points.

Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Summit Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 21 of their last 22 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

Parkview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Summit Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 67-56 defeat against Webster Groves on the 20th.
