Given Sachem North's advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 97th, while Walt Whitman is ranked 261st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Sachem North's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Walt Whitman, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
